It didn’t took the new Australian kid at Spinnin’ Records long for a new amazing release. After his collab with future house superstar Oliver Heldens, Throttle is destined to take back the good old disco days in his new track “Money Maker”. The 80’s might be over for quite some years now, but this track shows the genre still hasn’t died yet…
“Money Maker” is already being predicted by many as the summer anthem of 2016, with early support from Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens and the Chainsmokers the track is set for a huge kick-start. “Money Maker” first saw the light at BBC’s Danny Howard at the start of April this year. Experts expected it to be Oliver Heldens’ new track since he was the first to play and support it live in his bus tour performance in Montreal.
19-year-old talented Throttle
Let me first of start by saying that I’m completely blown away by all the fresh talent at Spinnin’ Records right now. Talented producers get younger by the day and the 19-year-old dirty disco don is no exception. With “Money Maker” Throttle achieved a perfect balance between the olds cool disco vibes from the 80’s and modern day pop-dance songs you hear on the radio all day. The groovy basslines, the funky guitar, the clubby chord progression, everything seems to fit the track as a glove.
I can’t express how much I love this track and style. “Money Maker” is the track I’ve been wanting for my summer playlist for way to long. Get your sunglasses and cold beers (or coke if you’re under 21, lol) at the ready, because “Money Maker” is going to make the temperature rise! The weather has been amazing in The Netherlands after it went online. Coincidence? I think not.
