The long-awaited collab between Dastic and Kyfra is finally out. Not Spinnin’ Records but subsidiary label Oxygen Record are the ones releasing this magical tune. The two young producers are not completely new to the dance scene. Both guys have already released some impressive tracks and now it is finally time to show their class on a major label.
It is cool to see guys from two different worlds do a collab together. Dastic is known for his somewhat bouncy future house while Kyfra is taking a more melodic/deep approach. These two styles of music surprisingly seem to work very well together as their track “Magic” is truly amazing. The vibes Kyfra brings in the breaks are from another level while the drop is as energizing as you would expect from Dastic.
There is one thing that immediately crossed my mind when I listened to the track when it first saw the light. All the sounds used in “Magic” made me think I was listening to a Mike Williams and KSHMR collab. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a bad thing in the slightest! It might be not the most original and most refreshing track of the year, but “Magic” is truly a banger to be reckoned with this summer!
Dastic and Kyfra breaking borders
As you might or might not know both guys do not live in the same country. Dastic is from Hilversum, The Netherlands while Kyfra is from San Diego, California. Normally these kind of collabs are made over Skype, but for this occasion the producer from the States flew over to The Netherlands.
We’re very keen on the end result by both guys. “Magic” is the banger we were expecting for a long time now and I am happy that it doesn’t disappoint! People might say it looks a lot like KSHMR and Mike Williams, but like I said earlier, that doesn’t throw me off at all. “Magic” is an amazing track and I can’t wait to hear more stuff by both guys in the near future!
