It was a big surprise for the followers of Curbi when he announced Mesto his new track called Chatterbox. The track was featured in his radio show Planet Curbi last week. After Mesto’s big hit with Martin Garrix called Bouncybob, the fans were waiting for a follow-up. The 17-year-old rising future house star from Amsterdam achieved what many producers have been hoping for for a long time. Let’s hope that the instant success of touring with the biggest name in EDM is not holding him back from making quality house tracks!
Chatterbox is at first sight a very happy track. The sounds Mesto used let me believe it could have been made by the one and only Fox Stevenson. The similarity is very clear but it doesn’t bother me at all. The happy vibe and the bouncy sound Chatterbox provides us gives me a sheer smile on my face. The production is besides that of a top notch quality as well.
I was a bit skeptical about the young artist at first. The instant rise to fame let me believe that the collab with big name Martin Garrix might came a little bit too early. It’s always hard to say if an artist can still provide good music after such an early success. Nevertheless, Mesto seem to prove me wrong with this very well produced track.
I can’t give my full opinion about the track, since it has obviously not been released fully yet. It is still a big question mark for us and many others where and when the track is going to be released. I guess time and more teases will tell.

Mesto and friends
Since our invitation to the Facebook group the Future of House it has been funny to see how close the group of signed producers really are. This Facebook group is basically the platform where every producer meets and share their ideas. Mesto, Mike Williams, Jonas Aden, Justin Mylo and Robby East all seem really good friends. This inner circle of friendship creates a lot of creativity. I’ve already heard from several artists that their best tracks ideas came of a collaboration.
Knowing this, I think we can suspect a lot of great tracks coming forward in the next couple months. Expect a lot of collabs and a ton of new refreshing music!
